Privacy

Minimal data, explicit choice.

LupaImóvel does not store photos, full descriptions or agent contact details. Observations collected while reading a listing are shared only with your explicit consent.

In the Account area you can download a structured copy of your data and permanently delete the account after confirming your email and password. Deletion removes sessions, saved properties, notes and alerts; observations already shared simply lose any link to the user.

Preferences stored in this browser — such as the draft of the link being analysed or the list of recent reports — stay on your device only (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers.

When you request a report, LupaImóvel opens that listing — and only that listing — from its servers, to read the visible facts: price, area, typology, bedrooms, bathrooms, floor, lift, year, condition and municipality. It does not download photographs, does not store the description and follows no other link on the portal. The address you gave is attached to the report; it is not written to any error log.

Cookies and optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics loads only after optional measurement is accepted and only on approved public pages.

  • Purpose and choice: understand use of public pages, based on your consent. Earlier permission for first-party metrics does not authorise Google. Declining does not restrict the service. Withdraw through Change privacy choice in the footer.
  • When enabled and accepted, Google receives the IP address needed for the connection, technical browser/device data and cookie identifiers, plus a normalised public path and a fixed title. This is not anonymous measurement. We do not send full URLs, queries, fragments, referring pages, free text, forms, financial values or account, property or report identifiers.
  • Authenticated, private, analysis and report areas are excluded. Internal operational events are not connected to Google. Advertising, Google signals, personalisation, user-provided data collection and enhanced measurement are not enabled.
  • The measurement-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days. A local reminder of the choice remains until browser storage is cleared. The _ga and _ga_* cookies have a configured 90-day lifetime without automatic renewal. Withdrawal stops the measurement context and deletes these cookies on this domain. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent loading.
  • Google receives measurement data when measurement is enabled and accepted; processing outside the European Economic Area may occur. The contractual provider identity, processing locations, transfer safeguards and Google-property retention must be confirmed and published before activation. This change does not attest that review or replace the contacts and rights described in this policy.

This policy describes what the service does with your data, but it does not yet publish the formal identifications the GDPR requires. Until they are here, we say what they are:

  • The full identification of the data controller: name, tax number and address.
  • Whether there is a data protection officer, and how to reach them.
  • The retention period for each category of data — account, saved properties, alerts and observations — and what happens to each when it ends.
  • The list of processors. The service currently runs on infrastructure hosted at OVH; email delivery and payments are configured but switched off, so no provider of either processes data at present.
  • The express mention of the right to complain to the CNPD, the supervisory authority in Portugal.
